"Fjord of the Lies" Painting Step by Step

These progress shots are from a painting I did back in 2009, called Fjord of the Lies. I've been getting requests asking how I work and what my process is, so here's an example. I wasn't thinking of showing each step when taking these pics so there is a big jump in progress right at the end. I forgot about the camera at that point!
